Not what I expected

We stayed for a week. Check-in was rough. I requested a ground floor due to my knee, ended up on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Dining was chaotic, like a buffet for 500 people! Food wasn’t great, especially at Pelo—meat was tough. One bright spot was the poolside snack bar, decent bites for a quick fix.

The Iberostar Resort has a lot going for it, particularly its beautiful setting and friendly staff. The all-inclusive option made dining easy, with a variety of restaurants available. I loved the Pelô restaurant, where the food was diverse and flavorful. The pools are really nice and well-maintained. However, some aspects definitely need improvement. The beach isn’t great for swimming due to the large waves, especially in the afternoon. I also faced some issues with the bathroom cleanliness in my room. After returning from the beach, there was an unpleasant smell that lingered, despite housekeeping cleaning it. The main dining area can get very loud, making it less enjoyable, especially during busy hours. It felt like food service got a bit messy too, with items not being replenished timely. Despite these drawbacks, the overall atmosphere is relaxing and it’s a nice place to unwind. Just hope they address those housekeeping concerns and noise levels in the dining room.

the stay at iberostar was incredible! the facilities were top-notch, especially the spa that my family and i enjoyed often. the food was consistently good, with breakfast being the highlight. we loved the location, close to everything fun, and the attentive service made us feel really pampered.
